BRANDING
HOPS POP
This is the final product of my Advertising Campaigns class at The University of Alabama. This class served as a window into what the future would be like in the advertising world. Our class was divided into teams of 5 or 6 classmates and we had to work as a team to create branding, social media strategies, budgets, and plan events. Our client was "Hops To It", an all natural hops flavored soda that plans to go to market within the year. As creative director for the campaign, I created the logo and built the brand from the ground up visually. We decided to target women because after conducting our research we felt it was a strong direction to move in. Although our all girl group was questioned for going so boldly in the feminine direction we finished 2nd out of 6 groups in the class. #GIRLBOSSES.
SHEL & SONS
This project was created for an upper level elective course, "Effective Branding", at The University of Alabama. Our assignment was to concept & brand a pizza or hot dog place anywhere we choose. For my project, I created a pizza place that would be located in the rapidly developing Railroad Park area of Birmingham, AL. The name Shel & Sons was created by taking pieces of the names of the two counties that Birmingham spans- Shelby & Jefferson. Shel & Sons celebrates the Birmingham community with pizza by-the-slice named after Birmingham landmarks and pints of beer brewed at local Birmingham breweries. Shel & Sons is a perfect place to eat and drink with friends, day or night, and explore all that Birmingham has to offer.
